The Renewable Energy Alaska Project is a coalition of small and large Alaska utilities, businesses, consumer and conservation groups, Alaska native organizations, and municipal, state, and federal partners with an interest in developing Alaska's renewable energy resources.[2]

REAP's mission is increase the development of renewable energy resources, facilitated by collaboration, education, training, and advocacy. REAP believes the state of Alaska can, and should be a leader in the rapid development of renewable energy resources.[3]
