Exploration Activity: Aeromagnetic Survey At Kawaihae Area (Thomas, 1986)

Exploration Activity Details
Location Kawaihae Area
Exploration Technique Aeromagnetic Survey
Activity Date
Usefulness useful
DOE-funding Unknown

Notes
The aeromagnetic data noted above refer to a low-level aeromagnetic survey that was flown over the entire island of Hawaii at an altitude of approximately 300 m. The results of the survey over Kawaihae clearly indicate an anomalously magnetized body between the town of Waimea and Kawaihae Bay to the west.
