The CitySmart Program is designed to help participants identify energy efficiency opportunities in existing and newly planned city facilities. Monetary incentives are also available to help implement the projects. The program is being offered at no cost to participants. CitySmart is a voluntary program that offers objective, third party consulting in the areas of energy usage and energy efficiency. It is important to note that no products or services are sold through the CitySmart Program. The program offers a $150/kW rebate for projects which reduce peak demand. Performance benchmarking for existing buildings, master planning workshops, technical assistance and communications support are also available through this program.
